Connecting locally, growing together
MISSION B.C. BUSINESS OWNERS COMMUNITY
Mission, BC Business Owners Community exists to connect, support, and grow local businesses through real relationships, practical education, and in-person connection. In this group, you can build genuine connections with other local entrepreneurs, share wins, challenges, and resources, collaborate on ideas and opportunities, and feel supported instead of isolated in your journey as a business owner.
Mission Business Owners Community was created by The Paper Fox Collective to support and connect local entrepreneurs through community, education, and in-person events.

Mission Business Owners: Running Your Business Can Be lonely
I’ve been working for myself and/or at home since 2018. Sometimes, the only people I talk to are myself and my dog (thankfully, he’s a good listener). When we moved to Mission in 2023, I felt even more isolated and was craving connection. It took me 2.5 years to start making connections, despite my efforts in trying.
When I started The Paper Fox Collective in the fall of 2025, I decided I didn’t want to do it alone this time. Back in 2020, I had created a rather large online community of female entrepreneurs worldwide. One day, I was reflecting on how much I missed running the group: connecting people, running live workshops, and feeling like a part of a bigger purpose.
That’s when I decided to create MBOC (if you think of Hansen, the name rolls off your tongue like their hit single, MMBOP). And if you’re still reading this, I want to thank you from the bottom of heart for being here and making this community what it is.
